Wildling OC - Odette

This beauty was made for me very recently for my adoration of gold/white palettes and FLOOFINESS!

She's an awkward young lady, not growing up being too popular among her fellow foals in the past, but aging into a beautiful and elegant (almost princess-like) wildling.

Name:   Odette

Nicknames:  "Lady Peacock", "Lady White".  (usually nicknames given by children in the clan due to her appearance)

Age:   Young Adult

Species:   Wildling Unicorn

Clan:   Nerensis

Occupation:  This fair mare doesn't have a real job as of yet, aside from collecting beautiful soft downy feathers for trading, often also seen on her accessories as well. The feathers are normally hard to collect due to any birds timid nature but this wildling seems just timid and gentle enough that the birds don't seem to fear her and allow her close to their homes for collecting feathers off the ground nearby.

Likes:   Relaxing in the flowers or grass somewhere during sunny days, especially in the early morning when the dew is still out; she adores the fresh smell of rejuvenated plants. Also adores decorating herself in soft and light accessories, feathers are her absolute favorite. Her favorite food is usually any type of sweet or tart berry, nothing too sour though! Lastly, she loves daydreaming about finding companionship someday, perhaps too often as she is often found out in the fields for long hours just spacing out. Has a love for sweet tea and reading on the side.

Dislikes:  Anything sour, it leaves a bad taste in her mouth. She also dislikes wearing anything too heavy for her body to carry easily. Highly dislikes being covered in mud as it is very hard to clean out of her incredibly pale fur, she would need help from someone to clean it out and she is very timid around others for reasons.

Personality:   Quite socially awkward as she grew up under negative conditions and didn't have a chance to grow out of it. Outside of her timidness though, she seems very generous and loving, she seems to enjoy taking care of others even if her past worries hold her down a little, she wishes to break through her past so she can experience this love more. Pretty soft spoken, graceful and careful most of the time, and raised to love everything and everyone but know her limits if someone is uncaring to her.

More detailed info:

Odette grew up a bit of an "ugly duckling" when she was a child, she was clumsy, her fur was a bit of a mess and her hair was never easy to manage as a child, often looking either soaked by water because of trying to hide it or matted and fluffed out because of not having time to hide it before someone noticed. She was often teased for these silly reasons and it made her a rather timid little kid even when her parents always told her that she was beautiful and always would be. Odette didn't believe them, and took matters into her own hands when she was a teen; she had met Celia (another of my wildlings) whom was about the same age group and Celia decorated her up to make her feel more confident and happy with herself. The two wildlings bonded over this and even now remain friends whenever Celia can find time to visit.

Odette's parents had left the clan when she was still just an older teen but left her where she was because she didn't care much to explore the outer lands too much with them, being content enough resting within the forests and grasslands nearby. Even now a days the easiest way to find her is to listen for nearby birds or go to large meadows filled with flowers in the early morning, as it seems that is where the lovely young lady is tucked away half the time.

Despite her past, now a days she's refered to as "Lady peacock" or "Lady white" for her beautiful white fur and elegant appearance, she almost seems like she's dressed as a princess might be, but this is simply the way she makes herself feel more confident. She's still a bit awkward around wildlings but she is at least able to reply to any speaking wildlings now and spend time having a conversation with them without shifting away like she would as a foal.

Often seen wearing a veil adorned with beautiful downy feathers and a cape that is held on by a gorgeous gold peacock necklace. It's said that Celia of the Philoden clan made these interesting accessories.
